Did you know that Mobi2SMS is more secure than everyone imagined? Here are a few things you need to know we thought about our approach to security:
You cannot use any name similar to the username part of your email address as your username on the website. This means that anyone who wants to guess your passwords won’t succeed even if they’ve graduated from an ethical hacking school.
If you try to login with the wrong password for up to 3 times in a row, your account gets disabled. If you have a Sales Manager, such person can help but if not, you have to contact firstname.lastname@example.org. That should slow them (hackers) down a little.
Every single activity on Mobi2SMS is being logged. Besides, everyone who visits the website is being tracked, even if you are just looking around – we are aware. So, we can ban a guest who doesn’t mean well without pulling any plugs. The website would just not work for you. In the same way, we can help you better via live chat and even see how exactly you are served by the website.
Did someone change your email address? Don’t worry, every member of the team was informed about it so we know who it is. Just in case your account is compromised, we may have helped you already when we noticed something strange before you even thought of complaining.
Stay informed when we are working! Sometimes, we might have the need to access your account – in most cases to help you out with certain tasks. Every time we do this, we would inform you by email. We might also be checking your account activity to monitor the service behavior. Have no fear! However, feel free to let us know if you notice any strange changes. We won’t change anything except you write to us by email.
When you no longer trust your Sales Manager – call us! At your discretion, you can leave your Sales Manager at any time, except you owe them using Mobi2SMS debt management tool. Don’t wait to write an email. Make that call now to disconnect you from the Sales Manager you’ve become scared of.
Our API is supported by a security key – so you’re safe! Gone are the days when someone with your username and password can use your API to push their truck. Now it takes knowing your key and decoding the hash calculations of both your username and password to know just whose account you are hacking. No luck for hackers anymore.
Who can see your messages? Good question. In as much as the Mobi2SMS Team own and manage the infrastructure of the website, we are not telling anyone about your SMS content so our team members cannot see your messages. Of course, your SMS content can be accessed but after due process which is backed by a legal request. If we are given a court order to release your SMS content, at that point we will. Even though, we make it available to you to see and re-use for only 90 days, we’ve got it backed up for a much longer period of time we won’t say.
